    The Permanent Ballet of the Colon Theatre Audition

    The Permanent Ballet of the Colon Theatre invites professional dancers to take part in the open auditions for the 2026 Season. A unique opportunity to become part of the tradition and excellence of our Ballet, on the country’s most iconic stage.
    Registrations will be open from Monday, September 1 to Sunday, September 14, 2025. Auditions will take place on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

    Dancers Sought:

    • Female
    • Male

    Requirements:

    • • Strong classical technique
    • • between the ages of 18 and 25
    • • preferably with a minimum height of 1.72 m for male dancers and preferably a minimum height of 1.62 m for female dancers.

    Required Documents:

    • • CV
    • • one (1) video no more than one (1) month old, through a YouTube link, performing a classical variation
    • • one (1) video no more than one (1) month old, approximately three (3) minutes long, through a YouTube link, performing a contemporary variation, without pointe shoes
    • • a close-up, full-body image.

    Additional Information:

    Call for applications ​​ Once the registration period has closed, the artistic and management team of the Teatro Colón Ballet will evaluate all applications, taking into account the artistic background and the requested videos. They will communicate their decision by email no later than Sunday, October 12, 2026. The decision is final. ​​ The preselected dancers will be notified via the email address provided on the form and must arrive at the day, place and time indicated by the Teatro Colón, one hour (1 h) in advance to participate in the corresponding classes. ​​ The evaluation committee may request that classes be held in full or in part, and may also interrupt and terminate the audition whenever it deems appropriate. ​​ The audition will consist of three (3) elimination classes, which will have the following format: ​​ Classic class Contemporary class • Partner
