Ballett Dortmund is the ballet company of Theater Dortmund, based in Dortmund, Germany. The company is led by Intendant Dr. Jaš Otrin and features Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Edward Clug as Artists in Residence, with each presenting at least one production per season in the repertoire. The company presents ballet productions, premieres, and galas throughout the season, including works by choreographers such as Krzysztof Pastor, Alexander Ekman, and the resident artists. The company has toured internationally, including performances in Seoul, Hwaseong, and Valencia.
Ballett Dortmund operates several related programmes. The NRW Juniorballett functions as an associated youth company. The organization also offers Senior*innentanztheater, led by Barbara Huber with choreography by Mark Hoskins, and JugendTanzTheater, with choreography by Justo Moret. The company supports young talent through We DO Dance!, where the Artists in Residence serve as mentors. Additional programmes include Klasse ProArt 328 and community engagement activities coordinated through its theatre education department.
