Isleworth and Whitton School of Ballet has been operating for over 20 years, initially opening in Isleworth before expanding to Whitton. The school offers ballet classes for boys and girls starting from age 3, following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Weekly classes take place at two locations: St Edmund’s Church Hall in Whitton and Gumley House School in Isleworth. All teachers are RAD registered and DBS approved.
Classes are available from beginner level through Grade Eight, with additional pointe work sessions by invitation. The school enters students for RAD exams and Class Awards at the teachers’ discretion once they reach the required standard. Students can participate in the All England Dance Regional and National Dance Finals. The school reports a 100% pass rate for RAD exams.
The principal, Rachael Greenall, holds LRAD and AISTD qualifications and has over 30 years of teaching experience. Ballet teacher Jemima Rose studied on the BA (Hons) Ballet Education course at the Royal Academy of Dance and has been with the school since 2013. Open lessons are held twice yearly for parents to observe classes.
