Marble Hill Dance Studio

Marble Hill Dance Studio is a dance school established in 2005 in Twickenham. Founded and led by Principal Abigail Cova, the studio provides dance classes for children and adults with a philosophy that values each child as an individual learner. All teachers are fully qualified and CRB checked. The studio offers training in acrobatic arts, classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern and tap, musical theatre, street dance, singing, LAMDA, and creative dance, with programs ranging from pre-primary ballet through graded and vocational level classical ballet training.

The main studios are located at Orleans Park School in Twickenham. The studio serves children and adults in Twickenham, Richmond, Ham, Hampton, Staines, Barnes, Parsons Green and West Hampstead.

The studio offers classical ballet from pre-primary through vocational levels, contemporary, modern, tap, street dance, jazz, musical theatre, singing, LAMDA, acrobatic arts, and creative dance. Classes include RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern Theatre and Tap Dance, Associate Ballet, Pointe Work, Progressing Ballet Technique, Body Conditioning, Floor Barre, Adult Ballet, Private Coaching, Wedding and Hen Party Dances, and Dance Parties. Holiday dance camps and intensives are also available, with free trial classes offered.

Children and adults can join the studio's classes. The studio serves families and individuals in Twickenham, Richmond, Ham, Hampton, Staines, Barnes, Parsons Green and West Hampstead.

The studio caters for children from 12 months to 7 years and older, as well as adults of all levels. Ballet Time is for children aged 2.5 to 7 years, Mini Disco, Ballet, Modern and Tap is for children aged 12 months to 4 years, and Adult Ballet classes accommodate adults of all levels.

The studio offers pre-vocational Associate Ballet training by invitation only, Festival Coaching and Competition Squad preparation for regional competitions and qualification for the All England Dance Championship, Acrobatic Arts classes by assessment and invitation, and Pointe Work at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels following individual assessment. Students can take RAD examinations from Primary to Advanced 2 level and are encouraged to participate in regular exam sessions or class awards.

The studio follows Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational syllabi for ballet training from Primary to Advanced 2 level, ISTD modern theatre and tap syllabi, and uses resources from La Four Prima Dance and the Dance to your Own Tune preschool programme. Adult ballet classes are based on RAD, Russian Vaganova and Stephane Dalle floor barre methods. Contemporary classes draw on Graham, Cunningham, Limon and release-based technique. Teachers are highly trained and qualified by RAD and ISTD boards.

The Festival Coaching and Competition Squad prepares dancers for regional competitions and qualification for the All England Dance Championship. Dance Parties can be hosted at home or at the studio at Orleans Park School with up to 30 children.
