Rose Dance Academy

Rose Dance Academy is a ballet school based in England focused on achieving exceptional standards of dance. The academy provides a unique experience for students to grow both mentally and physically as dancers, aiming to nurture creativity and artistic development in a warm and positive environment. The school is led by Artistic Director Rosana Bracho, a former principal dancer from Venezuela who has taught classical ballet for 11 years and holds a certificate as a Classical Ballet Teacher.

Rose Dance Academy is located at Harrow Arts Centre, 171 Uxbridge Rd, Pinner HA5 4EA, UK. The academy also offers online classes delivered through Zoom.

Rose Dance Academy offers classical ballet classes, ballet fitness classes, and online ballet classes. The ballet program includes Pre-Ballet for ages 3 to 5, Ballet 1 through Ballet 4 for progressive age groups, pointe classes, and adult ballet classes. Ballet fitness classes are available for adults and seniors aged 60 and older, with online options for those unable to attend in-studio. A free trial lesson is offered before payment.

Children and adults can join Rose Dance Academy. The school serves students from age 3 through adulthood, including seniors aged 60 and older.

Rose Dance Academy caters to ages 3 and older across multiple levels. Pre-Ballet serves ages 3 to 5, Ballet 1 for ages 6 to 8, Ballet 2 for ages 9 to 11, Ballet 3 for ages 12 to 14, Ballet 4 for ages 15 and older, and adult classes for ages 18 and older. Pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training, while adult ballet classes accommodate students with little or no training. Ballet fitness classes require no prior experience.

The academy aims to give students the best possible foundation for those who may consider ballet and dance as a future career. Students who meet physical and technical requirements can begin pointe work, and the curriculum progresses through increasingly complex combinations, performance skills, and partnering lessons at advanced levels.

The Artistic Director has taught the Vaganova method and RAD syllabus. The curriculum follows a progressive structure from Pre-Ballet through Ballet 4, with specific technical focuses at each level including turnout, flexibility, demi-pointe work, muscular control, style, and artistry development.
