WhizzDance is a dance school operating in Streatham and Bromley, with additional outreach programs in primary schools across London and Cheltenham. The school offers classes for children from age 2 through to adults. Dance styles taught include ballet, jazz, tap, street dance, and theatre. The school follows the ISTD syllabus for ballet and provides opportunities for students to work toward ISTD dance exams on a voluntary basis.
Classes for younger children include BalletTots for ages 2 and up with adult participation, BalletDots for independent learners ages 3 and up, and a Jazz and Tap Combo for children in Reception to Year 2. Students in Grade 2 ballet who attend two classes weekly may join a Pre-Pointe Conditioning class, which uses an assessment method created by dance physiotherapist Katy Chambers and runs for 12 months before pointe shoe assessment. The school provides classes for dancers with additional needs and organizes full-scale shows throughout the year.
The teaching staff includes Principal Miss Maria, along with teachers Miss Rachel and Miss Sammy. Miss Beth runs a branch in Bromley. WhizzDance also offers after-school clubs, holiday camps, and primary school enrichment sessions.
