TanzLuzern is the dance division of Luzerner Theater in Lucerne, Switzerland. From the 2026/27 season, the company operates under the co-leadership of Pamela Monreale and Victor Rottier. The ensemble includes eleven dancers plus hospitants. The company works with guest choreographers from Switzerland and internationally, and Jae-Duk Kim serves as Choreographer in Residence for 2026/27.
The 2026/27 season includes six productions: revivals of “Exploration of Energy” and “Seeing Beyond,” and premieres of “Petitpas & ich,” “Common Ground,” “Der innere Strom,” and “Next Matters.” Works feature choreography by Lida Doumouliaka, Jae-Duk Kim, Johanna Heusser, Maciej Kuźmiński, and ensemble members. The company also presents works by Andrea Miller and Inbal Pinto.
TanzLuzern offers participation programmes beyond performances. “Mach mit!” is a workshop for children aged 10 and over, where participants dance with company members and learn excerpts from current works. “Shall we dance?” is a workshop for people aged 60 and over, developed in cooperation with Pro Senectute Kanton Luzern. The company supports young dancers through hospitancies and integrates bachelor students into the ensemble during the season.
