Collide Theatrical Dance Company is a dance storytelling company founded in 2013 by Regina Peluso in Minnesota. The organization presents narrative works that combine jazz, hip-hop, ballet, tap, and contemporary movement with popular music, aiming to bridge concert dance and musical theater for multi-generational audiences. Since its founding, the company has produced over 40 mainstage productions and performs at the Luminary Arts Center in Minneapolis. Productions have included Romeo & Juliet, Bonnie and Clyde, The Great Gatsby, Wonderland, Dracula, and Little Women.
The company maintains a roster of company dancers, second company members, guest artists, and apprentices. Regina Peluso serves as Founding Executive Artistic Director, with Noelle Bohaty as Managing Director. The organization brings dance to schools, senior centers, and communities across Minnesota through touring productions such as Wonderland and Detention Diaries, which address themes including mental health and empathy. Residencies allow participants to create narrative dance pieces with guidance from teaching artists.
Collide operates a studio in St. Paul offering adult drop-in classes in ballet and jazz, a summer dance intensive for ages 12 and up, and an audition-based apprentice program that provides professional training alongside company members from September through April.
